I graduated from the PDA Professional Software Development course in September, and despite being one of the cohorts affected by the liquidation of CodeClan, we still managed to finish strongly thanks to the efforts of the instructors, and of course CodeBase. I gained an incredible amount of knowledge in the 16 weeks I was a part of the bootcamp, not only in terms of software development, but I also learned a lot about myself and what I'm capable of if I set my mind to it.
I would say my strengths definitely lie with OOP and TDD, and I particularly enjoyed testing and working with Java. Having now gone back to revise Python I feel it has taken on new meaning to me since completing the Java module also.
While I feel that I of course have much to learn, and this is really just the beginning, I have a taste for further knowledge and I feel more than ready to take my next step into world of tech by securing my first role.
