Alex is a fullstack developer, mostly interested in backend, with multiple group and solo projects to showcase such as a real-time pictionary-style online multiplayer game, real-time chat application and IMDB-style movie database app. He takes pride in his experience with building REST API's and websocket servers with Node.js and Java/Springboot. For front end, he enjoys using React, Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
He is currently getting to grips with AWS, with one full stack application deployed there so far. Alex is also getting acquainted with all things Devops, learning to incorporate CI/CD pipelines and containerisation for future projects.
5 years of experience working in clinical data management for contract research organisations, building and maintaining study databases in similar lifecycles to the SDLC places Alex well to hit the ground running with any Agile team.
